| Physical Description | Charlie is a still growing bean pole for his age (which he thinks is 12), probably due to his orphan status. He's appealing, but his hair is overly long and falls in his eyes constantly, in need of a haircut. His eyes shift color with his moods, it appears, but that may not be the case. They are sometimes blue and sometimes green, however. His ankle and wrist bones are knobby, and he always looks in need of a good meal ... probably because he often is. |

| Personal Bio | Charlie remembers his father pretty well, although he's been on his own at least five years. His father was an asteroid miner who fell on hard times. The two of them knocked around wherever Doolan could find work. He has no memory of his mother at all. His father died in an accident on Kabrel II while working with several other wildcatters to mine small deposits of Cormaline to trade for passage to a better part of the Alpha quadrant. The other wildcatters soon cleared off the uninhabited planet, taking Charlie with them. However, they abandoned him on Bajor and from there he began a career as cabin boy or stowaway, whichever worked in the particular place where he found himself next. In five years, he's learned plenty of odd jobs and how to make himself useful. He's also picked up a little about math and reading, but his focus has been on survival, and nothing more. |
