Life Stories
Service Record | Fala was young when Zek handed off the throne of the Nagus to Rom, the lobeless idiot who nearly ruined it for everyone when he foolishly implemented sweeping changes rather than gradual shifts. The resulting chaos lost money everywhere, and females were blamed. Though reforms had granted women the right to earn, persecution, and blind justice were still accepted in common society. Bribes were twice as much and margins half as narrow for her. Fala became incensed at the way things were turning out, and began her own personal quest, to earn more than any other Ferengi... To buy the Nagus would take at least 2/3 of the combined assets of the FEC and a controlling share in the governments voting interests to ensure her entry into contention for election by the board. She has the votes, and is now acquiring the capital. Quinton Beck promised her he would be the worthy investment of her lifetime, and with the discovery of the Lafitte, she gets her just return. |
